President’s Advisor

The President’s Advisor provides guidance, perspective, and support to the President of Okeechobee Community Theatre. Working directly with the President, the advisor serves as a trusted resource on organizational matters, leadership decisions, strategic planning, and the continued growth and success of the theatre.

President’s Advisor responsibilities may include:

• Providing guidance and counsel to the President on organizational matters and leadership decisions.

• Serving as a trusted sounding board for ideas, challenges, and opportunities facing the theatre.

• Assisting the President with strategic planning and long-term organizational goals.

• Providing perspective and recommendations on policies, procedures, and organizational initiatives.

• Supporting the President in evaluating opportunities that may strengthen and grow the theatre.

• Offering guidance on community relationships, partnerships, and organizational development.

• Assisting with special projects and initiatives at the request of the President.

• Helping identify potential challenges and providing thoughtful recommendations for addressing them.

• Supporting the President in maintaining a strong, collaborative leadership team.

• Providing continuity, experience, and institutional perspective when needed.

• Serving as a resource to the President during significant organizational decisions or periods of change.

• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when discussing organizational and leadership matters.

The President’s Advisor serves in an advisory capacity and works directly with the President. The position does not replace or supersede the authority of the Board of Trustees, Vice Presidents, or department leadership. Rather, the advisor provides an additional source of guidance and perspective to help the President lead Okeechobee Community Theatre effectively.
