I was truly honored to be appointed Executive Director and President of Okeechobee Community Theatre, Inc in 2025, and I remain incredibly grateful for the trust placed in me. Since that time, our theatre has experienced meaningful and exciting growth. Together, we expanded to a five-show season, built a strong and dedicated leadership team, and established a Foundation to honor our founders and preserve the vision they worked so hard to create.

This progress has been possible because of the passion, commitment, and creativity of our volunteers, artists, supporters, and community partners. I am proud of what we have accomplished, but even more excited about what lies ahead.

My personal goal is to continue deepening our involvement within the community and strengthening the role Okeechobee Community Theatre plays beyond the stage. I want our theatre to be a place where everyone feels welcome, supported, and encouraged to be themselves, whether they are performers, crew members, volunteers, or audience members experiencing live theatre for the first time.

As we move forward, I invite you to be part of this journey. Whether you choose to attend a performance, volunteer your time, support our Foundation, or share our mission with others, your involvement makes a difference. Together, we can continue to build a theatre that reflects the heart of our community and ensures the arts remain accessible, inspiring, and alive for generations to come.
